Meet Our Administrator

Ruth Maxwell, M.P.H., C.A.S.C.

Ms. Maxwell is the Administrator of MedCenter Ambulatory Surgery in Houston, Texas. A certified surgery center administrator, she brings more than 25 years healthcare management experience to her position. Prior to joining Foundation in 2002, she managed her own healthcare consulting business offering management consultation and specialized operational support for surgery centers, hospitals and physicians in private practice. She has extensive experience in facility and business development, planning and marketing, and third party contracting and compliance, having worked at the corporate and field levels in both public and private healthcare organizations. An alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Texas, Ms. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and a Masters degree in Public Health.
