Meet Our Materials Manager

Judy Hatcher

Mrs. Hatcher has over 30 years of progressively extensive experience in medical materials management. Prior to assuming her current position as Materials Manager for MedCenter Ambulatory Surgery, Judy served as a Materials Manager with Columbia HCA, HealthTrust, EPIC and Tenet hospitals for over 26 years. Her experience includes guiding acquisitions and maintenance of inventories of over ten million dollars a month.

Very familiar with all aspects of materials management and inventory control, Mrs. Hatcher has reduced MedCenter Ambulatory Surgery inventories from over $540,000 to under $100,000 per month. She has been instrumental in training the nursing personnel in proper inventory management techniques.

An advocate for newborns and active in assisting others with adoption, Judy has served as a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She and her husband Scott enjoy world travel and white water rafting.
