Melton Horwitz, M.D. - Ear, Nose and Throat
Melton Horwitz attended the University of Houston before graduating from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He
completed a mixed surgery internship at the Medical College of Virginia and an otolaryngology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Horwitz also
earned a fellowship of otology and neurotology at the Ear Research Institute in Los Angeles, California. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and is
certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Horwtiz’s hospital appointments include the Diagnostic Hospital, the Park Plaza Hospital, and Saint Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. He also
has academic appointments as a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Otolaryngology and at the University of
Texas School of Medicine.
Dr. Horwitz is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the
American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the Houston Otolaryngological Society, the Texas Association of Otolaryngology - Head and
Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Neurotology Society. His special interests are rehabilitation of hearing loss with
implants, otologic surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and laser surgery.
