Rosemary Buckle, M.D. - Orthopeadic Surgery
Rosemary Buckle graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry before attending the University
of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her General Surgery internship at the University of Colorado in Denver and her Orthopedic Surgery
residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Buckle is licensed to practice in Texas and is certified by the American Board of
Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Buckle was given the Clinical Excellence Award, the Leadership Award and the Chief Residency position while at the University of
Texas Medical School at Houston.
Dr. Buckle has an academic appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedics at the University of Texas Medial School. Her
professional appointments include being a Surgical Consultant / Design Surgeon for Stryker Howmedica Osteonics. Dr. Buckle is the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery
at Saint Joseph's Hospital and Spring Branch Hospital.
Her current hospital affiliations include the Hermann Hospital, Saint Joseph's Hospital, M.D. Anderson Hospital, Shrine Hospital for
Crippled Children, Christus Saint Catherine's Hospital, Spring Branch HCA Hospital, and Memorial Northwest Hospital.
Dr. Buckle’s professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Texas
Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Orthopedic Association, the Houston Orthopedic Society, the Physicians Advisory Council,
the Arthritis Foundation, and the Women’s Fund for Health, Education and Research.
