Meet Our Medical Director

Ramachandra Lahori, M.D. - Medical Director

Dr. Lahori was born in Chicago, Illinois. He did his medical school and residency training at Northwestern University. His professional experience is quite varied, having held position in all types of anesthesia practices including military, academic and private. He actively practices all sub specialties of anesthesia including obstetric, neuro, and pediatrics. He has always, however, maintained a concentrated clinical practice in cardiovascular and ambulatory anesthesia with emphasis on acute pain management/regional anesthesia. Dr. Lahori moved to Houston in 1998 after serving in the army. "I believe my diverse clinical background serves me well to take care of patients presenting for day surgery at MedCenter. I try to use humor to help ease patient's anxiety when they come for surgery. Having surgery and anesthesia is very stressful, making people feel relaxed is just as important as relieving their pain in the healing process."
