Charles Katz, M.D. - Ear, Nose and Throat
Charles Katz graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry from Tulane University before attending the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Katz
completed a general surgery residency and an otolaryngology residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals. He was awarded a fellowship in facial
plastic and reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Katz is licensed to practice by the states of Texas and California
and is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Katz’s awards include the Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences’ Outstanding Achievement
Award, the Association of Research in Otolaryngology Travel Award, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s Ben Susholtz Young Leadership Award.
Dr. Katz is currently a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology. His
hospital appointments include Saint Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the Diagnostic Center Hospital.
Dr. Katz is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American College of Surgeons. His professional
memberships include the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the American Medical
Association, the Harris County Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and the
Houston Otolaryngology Society.
