Meet Our Surgeon
Michael Kaplan - Ear, Nose and Throat
Michael Kaplan graduated with a B.A. in biology from the University of Texas at Austin before attending the Baylor College of Medicine.
He completed a residency in general surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals and also completed a residency at the University of
California at Los Angeles in otolaryngology. Dr. Kaplan is licensed to practice in Texas. He is also certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in Head
and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Kaplan’s hospital appointments include Saint Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, the Methodist Hospital, the Diagnostic Center Hospital, the
Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Park Plaza Hospital.
Dr. Kaplan is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the
American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Kaplan has a special interest in treating chronic
sinusitis, obstructive sleep apnea, and professional voice disorders.
